We are proud to announce the appointment of Karen Fawcett as the new Chair of the Board of the Evergreening Global Alliance (EGA).
Karen brings a wealth of experience in guiding global businesses across financial services and climate change mitigation. In addition to EGA she sits on the boards of Aegon Ltd, LGT and Botanic Gardens Conservation International. She previously held senior leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank and Booz Allen Hamilton. Throughout her career, she has consistently championed solutions for climate change mitigation and environmental stewardship.

Karen steps into the role following the incredible leadership of Dr Dennis Garrity, who has been instrumental in EGA’s inception, growth, and impact. His experience and expertise have driven the rapid expansion of EGA’s technical capacity and programmatic reach. We thank him for his dedication and continued support. Dennis remains a vital member of EGA’s Board.
